I have just signed up to this forum and I would ask if anyone can point me to working C# winforms examples for an audio file player?

I'm not sure about winforms specifically (I'm not a .Net user myself), but there are some C# examples included in the BASS.Net package (and some C# code snippets included in its documentation).

Yes, in the Bass.Net install, there are several C# samples included, see the docs and the Sample folder.
