Topic: BASS and FLAC

Hi 

I notice that the standard BASS.DLL can play FLAC without Plugin?
Does this have to do with the fact that FLAC is actually OGG and when does a 'real' FLAC go wrong? Or is this not the case.

Media Foundation includes support for FLAC, which allows BASS to play FLAC files on Windows without the BASSFLAC add-on. The "ctype" will be BASS_CTYPE_STREAM_MF in that case. But I would generally recommend using BASSFLAC for better performance, and also tag reading support.
