I think this is the best player!. stuff like this what makes me want to donate.
Like this more stuff will be added it since you guys work on your own time.
also this is a posible player that big companies might be interested in. a winamp killer for sure.

What do you want to donate for if the donations aren't needed? If Ian couldn't make enough money with the other tools (mostly BASS I guess), he would probably already have asked for donations or made XMPlay a shareware program or whatever.

It's a great player ever for me and changelog of 3.8 makes me want to say "Thank you very much, Ian!" (separate/unseparate subsongs is what I needed most)
The only way for me to do it is some donate, which means gratitude for his job (or hobby?). So, please, give me a chance to do it

Yep, there's still no donation option today. The main reason is to avoid any thoughts that a donation may entitle someone to extra support/features/etc. I suppose another option could be XMPlay merch (t-shirts/etc), so the user gets something for their money, but I imagine that'd be a hassle to setup. Basically, the primary concern is to minimize the hassle
