Topic: Taskbar thumbnail controls, anyone?

On most media players (such as VLC, Winamp, Foobar etc.), when hovering over a taskbar button whose windows are present, there are media controls for play/pause etc. under the window's thumbnail. Should there be either an addition to XMPlay or a plugin that would implement this feature?

Also, should this plugin also implement the volume controller's media display as featured on Windows 10?
