dde_run -s xmplay -t System -n "n:\apps\xmplay\xmplay.exe" -c [open("C:\Windows\Media\notify.wav")]

I want to use XMPlay in a DOS program to play different sounds because Windows 7 has taken away the system speaker.  After the sound plays, I need focus to return to the DOS program.  Can I have XMPlay exit?

Is there a command line switch or setting to get XMPlay to return focus to the command line?

For example, I'm entering
xmplay.exe -tray "C:\Windows\Media\notify.wav"

The focus is remaining on XMPlay.
