yup, that's what I meant saying "should only apply when the restart position is the 1st order, and the song isn't looping itsef using pattern jump commands". I'll test later with files that aren't supposed to loop. thaanks for the fix.

mmm, I suppose it startd someway along latest stuffs, since it affects the spectrum in minimode only (which I never seen on stable build).
both PC use xp sp3, and both have an nvidia gpu (not integrated, different cards), with different driver version. I'll report what happens installing the last drivers on homebox (not a gamer, so I'm not on the latest version always).

mmm, further test on the latest stuff (.40) and wa modern skin points out that... it's probably something like Jimmy Neutron supposed (driver dependent, or machine dependent), since the same xmplay from usbkey that works on workbox presents the glitch on homebox, even if the new stuff build doesn't presents the glitch immediately, but after a bit of clicking on the interface, then desktop, then interface, windows, bar, ...
I try getting a new driver version, to see if it makes any difference. might try the -boost (interface) too to see if it helps.

btw, I noticed a little thing with the new spectrum while in minimode: if an info bubble goes over it, the spectrum will acts like it's "resetting", showing all bar full, then starting to work again. I don't know if it's the same thing other experience. it's easy to reproduce: lt's say you're using the new WA modern in minimode, just over te cursor on the postion bar, just under the spectrum.

Well, thanks to you for this skin port in the first place, and for listening to all of our suggestions. Smiley

I don't know if it's a skin limitation or not, so I'll ask: in the wa modern skins, is it possible to have the info bubble the same color as the one in the original skin? for example, in qwayke they should be dark red.
thanks.

well, amr quite common format, mostly on cellphones (toyphones?). but there are several "standards" of it and some .amr files aren't actually "real" amr but just some other obscure codec with a .amr extension, in some cases may even be proprietary. ffdshow can play some of them, can't some other (or mplayerclassic-hc, or codec pack of choice).
XMPlay won't play them natively unless someone writes a plugin for it (XMPlay is not a directshow player, so no, .ax codecs won't work here); and plugins usually happens when someone with skill needs one, or when a lot of ppl ask for it... I may be wrong, but I don't see that great demand of a .amr input plugin... XD
try searching for an a converter to save them in .wav file, a -working- one, and you'll see how "popular" that format is... and to think my boss made me do it some months ago... thrust me, it's a pain...

Thanks a lot!
Seems to work perfectly with the specific file I mentioned.
I'll try more looped files when at home and post results.

-edit: sadly, I spotted an issue, xmplay loses the setting upon restart. The module is in a 7zip along with others if it matters.

nice. It should only apply when the restart position is the 1st order, and the song isn't looping itsef using pattern jump commands (so that it doesn't break songs already designed to loop and actually using speed changes, might be pretty uncommon but...).

Mmmm, I wouldn't hate if xmplay were to have an (hidden) option to do the same think. or even not so hidden, in fact it's a lot like a midi reset.
Actually, to achieve my intended result, I'd have to load 2 time the same track on the playlist and repeat the playlist, but in that way I can't really use the playlist...
Is this request feasible?

about timers in the wa modern skin (talking about qwayke): I think the font is different from the one wa uses, I checked yesterday night; and another thing, are the ":" part of the font or of the skin (font?), since they're actually bigger on your (really loved by me) port, maybe this can influence the glitches I spotted in my previous post.

+1 for the tiny rev switch Smiley

on a side note: I suppose moving down the buttons is to be able to rezize to palyer width the playlist/inf windows... I don't like much it, it changes the feeling of the skin a bit, but if this will be the way you go, will the sources permit to mod it as it is now (buttons on top position of that window)?

I sudden remembered this:

http://www.un4seen.com/forum/?topic=10109.0;hl=xmplay+icon

and about the support site Graph, Rah'Dick made that one so you might ask him the source?

[btw, nice to see the font issue fixed Wink]

talked too fast, spotted this one...

ok, my 2 cent... (oddiophile fault, I would have done my mod with the source and keep silent...)

- The fake lightning bolt
You can aswell remove it, since it doesn't have a real use.

- The EQ graph in the WA Classic skins is fake
You can aswell remove it, since it doesn't have provide any info.

- The 'Play' and 'Pause' indicators alternate way too fast when a song is paused
well, a slower blink time should be asked @ the boss Wink

- The spectrum analyzer
oddiophile lamenting no eyecandy over fidelity? the world may end soon...

Suggestion: on WA modern skins, minimode, remove the lil arrow just after the mini eq, nince it does nothing.

Suggestion 1 on MMD3 skins: in minimode, the bar was longer both on the time display and on the title display... can you make it so again?

Suggestion 1 on MMD3 skins: in minimode, can the title be displayed as centered (if there is enough space)?

also, another glitch on wa modern, applyes to all mini modes: the time gets cut Tongue

on another side, I'll be waiting for the sources, since I'll remap some buttons etc to suit my tasted Wink

but this was an awesome work, really. I suppose boring here and there too XD
