This one does not run on a 64bit system when I tried to convert a paino rag song to xm using 64bit Window 7 RC. Other applications that can do that?

Im working on some music for a homebrew DS game, which is why I use XM rather than mp3 this time.

PS. ModPlug Tracker did a nice job about that convert.

MID2XM is indeed a very old application, so you'd need a virtual machine to get it running.

I think its 16 bit application and is more a windows 3.11 than windows XP application. Howover ModPlug Tracker did a nice convert job for the tune needed with only few issue which I fixed in the tracker (its was a 18xx piano rag).

Today no one few might use such of application today I known, but since I work music for a homebrew Nintendo DS game (limited memory space) I began to create XM music again (long time ago I did that since elsewise). Fun to do that. Games I talk about is a remakes of Manic Miner and The Detective Game.....

Strange, you are one of the few how say that MPT's Midi import sounds actually OK. Tongue Especially with ragtime, I would have bet on the contrary... (And don't keep me from bashing MPT's MIDI import/export, I actually maintain the MPT code nowadays and the MIDI stuff is horrible IMO Tongue)

Yes I was actuelly surpriced too it did work. Howover there was some edit to make sure it convert correctly in FL-Studio, Modplug Tracker and then to Skaletracker (which I use which works as it should here).

I was also surpricely too it did work and sound nicelly in the game (it could minght been better, but works as it should and works cool on the level used).

It first and propenty last time I would do that, rest I of course compose my own tunes in FL-Studio (most of time) and then export the samples needed and recreate it again in XM to both games.
