I've used unmo3.exe to convert a mo3 file into a it one, only problem is that I can't play it on my MP3 player. It's there any way for me to convert it into an mp3 file without recording the soundtrack when playing it? This piece of music is pretty long.

Use XMPlay. It has a WAV Writer and can also directly encode to MP3/OGG/etc. You don't even have to use unmo3 then, because XMPlay can directly decode MO3 files.
