Author Topic: Bass.chm help file???  (Read 2022 times)

Anybody know, how to use "bass.chm" help file correctly ? I can pick up a topic, but
there isn't any documentation under it. Am I supposed to use it through internet
somehow or what?

That's strange.

Actually, I recall someone else having this problem before. Here's what they did to fix it:

I found the reason why the help-file didn't work. I had stored all unpacked
files on a server partition and tried to read it from there. After copying
the file onto my local machine it immediately worked.

Just had the same thing happen on Win 7.  Right-click the file and select Properties.  Then look for an Unlock button at the bottom of the dialog.

then how come i can see the TOC, but not the pages?

Right click on the file and select 'properties'. You will see that the file is probably blocked.
Remove the block and it will work!

This is what I see and have to do under Windows XP. (No idea how the situation is under #$&%# Vista...)
Maybe under: Security?
