PlayDelay - Delay (in seconds) until start of play to enable sorting, set to 0 to disable  (default: PlayDelay=1)
RandomList - Pre-shuffle multiple file drops for WinXP and above

I forgot to mention that the "RandomList" option was removed when the "PlayDelay" option was extended to begin playback with a random track (when random playback is enabled). That option was for added people that wanted playback to begin with a random track when adding a bunch of new tracks, so it became redundant.

Yes, makes sense that it is redundant.  Thanks!

This is not quite correct. It should be something along these lines:
Amount (in seconds) of a ShoutCast stream that is kept im memory for being written to disk. This way, audio that has been sent before "Write to Disk" has been enabled can be written to disk as well.

Yep, the "NetBufferOld" option sets an amount of old (already decoded/played) data to keep buffered from Shoutcast streams, in addition to the normal buffering (as set in the Miscellaneous options page). When file writing is activated, the contents of both buffers will be written to the file.

Ah, guilty of trying to over-simplify the "short" description.  Does this do the trick?

Updated Item:
NetBufferOld - [3.6.0.74 and later] Amount (in seconds) to buffer output of a ShoutCast stream (in addition to the incoming stream buffer set in Miscellaneous options.)

These Secret INI settings should be in XMPlay.ini that comes with the program (but they can be commented out). Would save some time for new users to have to find the settings on the internet and add them manually.

You'd still have to look up the exact meaning of each setting. Or would you know what "NetBufferOld =5" means in the INI without looking it up here?

Adding all the secret settings with default value is suggested in the Illustrated Manual Section 6.2 - Secret INI settings for experienced users:

Quote
Put them all there:
Some of the cutting edge users intentionally put all of the "secret" settings (each with the default value) into the xmplay.ini file even if they don't intend to modify the setting.  If they want to experiment later, they can see the setting's correctly-spelled name and change from the default value on that line.

Some of the settings are common enough where placement in the default ini might be a good idea (SingleClickTray comes to mind), but many are so obscure that you'd have to know what you were doing to even mess with it (hence the "cutting edge users" and "experiment" comments).

Even so, it has been some time since someone asked if they could configure the tray icon clicking performance.  That tells me that the information we are currently providing (and the methodology) is working.
