With the 3.5.1 version (both 3.5.1.27 and 3.5.1.0) there're frequent slight annoying interruptions of this stream mms://213.8.138.13/glz-stream There's no such problem with version 3.4.2.1 and with other players. Win XP32 SP3 + latest patches, Eset NOD32 AV I tracked the problem to xmp-wma.dll. In 3.5.1 it's version 1.0.12.0, while in version 3.4.2.1 it's 1.0.11.0. When I reverted back to version 1.0.11.0 the hickups are gone. I got xmp-wma.dll version 1.0.12.1 from here http://www.un4seen.com/forum/?topic=7375.msg50196#msg50196, and there're no hickups with that version either.

Are the interruptions due to buffering, eg. do you see "buffering" in the time display? What "Buffer" and "Prebuf" settings do you have in the "Miscellaneous" options page, and does increasing them make any difference?

Nope, there's no buffering/pre-buffering going on, just short (but very annoying) hickups. Buffer=30, Pre-buff=5. Changing those have no effect on hickups.

Currently files contained within an archive that share some sort of LIB file must be extracted.

I couldn't reproduce the problem to begin with, so I couldn't test the modification. If I come across the problem again, I will test and report. Thx, D

Check the attached file. The IT song message should pretty much explain what Impulse Tracker would do and what XMPlay actually does.

Here's an update to try... www.un4seen.com/stuff/xmplay.exeThe modification was to uncomment a line that was previously commented out for some reason that I don't recall. Let me know if you find that there are now other IT envelope problems

Seems to work so far! Out of curiosity, what was that line doing? I still don't quite know how to resolve this issue in OpenMPT, because it stays on tick 0 instead of tick 23 in that particular example. :\ I suppose I could just save the envelope position of the previous tick, but that seems a bit wasteful to me.

It simply doesn't advance the envelope's position on the note's 1st tick, but I'm fairly sure now that isn't the correct solution. I'll let you know when I find something better.

I don't know if it is a bug or feature, but XMPlay 3.5.1 stopped displaying tags from psf/minipsf correctly. In 3.5.1 it looks like this: In 3.4.2 it looked like this: In "plugin file info" it still looks like this (3.5.1): But, as I understood, it takes names from here: Can it be switched back?

I've had weird behavior from Highly Experimental with XMPlay. Probably due to the Winamp/XMPlay plugin combo and the lack of updates.
