Ok, it works correctly in this. Thanks. I guess I'll just wait for the next stable version.

Stuff versions are stable (usually). They're just not "release" versions.

http://scene.org/file.php?file=%2Fparties%2F2010%2Fevoke10%2Ftinymusic%2Felectric_bunny.zip&fileinfothis file played correctly in XMPlay 3.4, but fails in XMPlay 3.5. Just have a look at sample 20, the instrument's filter envelope is not carried on, because of the portamento effect I suppose. This is how it sounds in IT2.14: *link removed* Storlek's "when to retrigger envelopes" chart might come in handy here: envelope retrig

There was indeed a problem with the filter envelope carrying. Here's an update that should sort it... www.un4seen.com/stuff/xmplay.exePlease let me know if there are still problems with it.

XMPlay seems to hang when trying to load this module and a few others.

XMPlay freeze sound at 100 percent CPU usage. Boost setting does not help.

That is absolutely normal, since the CPU cannot handle all the things you throw at it. And since the CPU usage is at 100%, and the CPU is the one that should also keep XMPlay running...do the math If the CPU usage is caused by XMPlay, then there's indeed a problem with XMPlay. If not, well...try using less CPU-intensive applications, and let it breathe a little. XMPlay is not at all a CPU-intensive application, but it still needs some CPU power left in order to be able to run.

XMPlay freeze sound at 100 percent CPU usage. Boost setting does not help. Boost is intended to increase GUI priority, not playback priority. What file does this happen with, is it reproducible, have you tried other output devices and does it occur with a clean XMPlay (no settings, no plugins) as well?

so I listened thru all famicompo 7 entries. And there's a bunch of great tunes. You can download my favourites from my website. Anyways. What I noticed was that the songs I named in windows 7 with japanese names: entry056 - ふぁんきーしょた.nsf and entry063 - 星のおジイさま.nsf show up as broken files in xmplay. This might not be related to xmplay in sense but nez++ plugin which I use to play them. However I'm sure there's a workaround to rename them before parsing them to nez++ if that indeed is the problem. The songs which are broken are found in the zip archive I wrote in the beginning of this post

Right-click track > Track info, [X] Override, edit, [X] In Library, Apply.

A new IT replay bug... Something goes wrong when switching from sample 2 to sample 3. (And I have no idea how to fix it myself, OpenMPT breaks this even worse :\)

The same thing happens to me with MMD3 and and WAModern from time to time (I have not noticed this behavior with other skins as I have not tried them recently). I am using Windows XP SP3 though.

32-bit floating point .WAV files are displayed as WAVE(?) instead of WAVE (Float) in the Track Info window.

Here's an update to try... www.un4seen.com/stuff/xmplay.exeLet me know if you still have any trouble with it. 32-bit floating point .WAV files are displayed as WAVE(?) instead of WAVE (Float) in the Track Info window.
This should also be sorted in the update above.
