Just delete the file "xmplay.library" in your XMPlay folder, and start XMPlay normally - your library will be cleared, but it shouldn't be too troublesome to restore it, if you need it (XMPlay will create a new xmplay.library file).

I delited .library from XMPlay folder and Application Data folder. No error message appears. But the program itself will not start - Just nothing happens.

Are you sure the program isn't already running and perhaps minimized to the tray? Or maybe the process is somehow otherwise left running in the background - check from the task manager to be sure.
Anyway, if the program fails to run at all, then there's something wrong with your system, or the xmplay.exe file has somehow gotten corrupt. The library file is not necessary to run XMPlay - in fact, the player will run with just the .exe file alone.

I think the problem might also be caused by a plugin, so you could try a fresh install, if you didn't already.
Also, if you run the player via command prompt, you may get some more information. To do that, type "cmd.exe" in the "Run..." tool in Windows Start menu, then type in the whole path to xmplay.exe. An error message of some sort might appear in the box, giving clues about (or hopefully explaining) the problem.

Nice. The window position bug is fixed in the latest 'stuff' build.

It doesn't look like there is any way to correct the z-order of the windows in the "Peek" view as it appears to be outside of the normal Windows/application interaction, eg. no messages are received by XMPlay. Instead, here's an update that'll disable the "Peek" feature to avoid the unpleasantness... www.un4seen.com/stuff/xmplay.exe

Thank you Dotpitch!
Redirected: Thank you once again for these skins Keltic. I was observing a corelation between the WAModern-WAClassic skins and some of the visualizations (Honto's Phase, CoR's Spec'n'Hop, SpectrumBars). They seem a bit jerky with these skins. I waited until a new "stuff" version to see if the problem was fixed but it is still there. The new "Aiwa" skins also seem to be affected by this behaviour, so maybe it is related with XMPlay's new spectrum feature? P.S. Thanks for resolving the little graphic glitch on Good 'Ol Winamp and the digits. They look great! Thank you in advance

I have the latest version, and songs are gradually faded in to full volume. Is this crossfading? I have that turned off in the preferences, but it seems to be permanent.

You are right. Don't know how that got turned on, as I don't use any of the EQing.

Urm, remember my "when adding a folder with the autosort option enabled, files are added in the unsorted order... then the first entry starts playing, finally list gets sorted" problem? Well, it still happens in case of archive plugins (at least xmp-rar). Rar file, with contents { 10.mp3, 11.mp3, 12.mp3, 01.mp3, 02.mp3, 03.mp3, 04.mp3, 05.mp3, 06.mp3, 07.mp3, 08.mp3, 09.mp3 }. Drag/dropping it onto window or choosing Open File, so it autoplays. 10.mp3 is added, starts playing. 11,12 are added in sort order after the 10. 01-09 are added in sort order in front of 10, which still is playing. Result: Sorted playlist with #10 instead of #1 playing. Expected: #1 playing. Caveat: It'd require delaying starting the playback until the whole RAR is read (or, if it's non-solid with TOC, until the known-sorted-first is loaded). So, maybe, an option?

I've discovered another bug in IT playback; If there's both gx and Oxx in the same field, the Oxx is ignored, which should not be done. This is correct for XM playback, but wrong in IT.

Hovering over the tabs makes the text scroll and change color in Neutron and Sterling XP skins.
