That's already there, if you put all you tracks in the playlist and tick 'Skip playback of non-matching tracks' in the
Find Window.
I am aware of this. Thanks Dotpitch. It is possible today with a few actions to get the same result:You need to update the playlist to match the current library , select the search pattern and then select the sort order.
But what is the purpose of the library if you need to copy all of it to the playlist each time? It should serve as a database - from it you select each time the wanted tracks and play them in the playlist.
With this suggestion you would be able to draw from the library lists based on preset terms.A search criteria can be defined like this :
%genre=jazz %sort=(%age,%artists,%albums,%track)
An extra option or a list that replaces the list with the matched tracks would then offer a smarter and quicker way to handle repeated selected playlists.
Not a huge revolution but it makes things a little easier
