I'm not sure if it has been suggest before, but is it possible to be able to "stick" in place the extended playlist/info window to the player ...? Yup, that has been suggested a number of times. Don't worry, it's still on the list . - 'Select all' in playlist and library, in orther to delete all with a simple key press. Options and stuff > Shortcuts > 'List nav - Select all'. Note that you can assign the 'List track - Remove' shortcut to the same key combination, so selection and deletion only takes one keypress.

ok, i have seen that two of my suggestions are also implemented in XMplay 3.6.0.1 the way to select all in the playlist or library is using Control + A An the way to change fast the visualization is using the center mouse button, but a ramdom change each certain time could be amazing. Now i want to sign a fact that if the playlist tab contains more entries than its window covers, dont auto scroll to show the currently played song. In my opinion must auto scroll. I dont know if this also happend in the library tab. Also i suggest to have a native enhacer suck as the Hi-Fi function known as Loudness. I know that Jammix enhacer is so good, but natively could be better. Dont missunderstand me, the ability to load winamp plugins is good, but natively is always better, and looking how this media player is optimized... i prefer this way Go Go with the best audio media player of all !!!!

Options and stuff > Playlist > Follow current track > Tick 'Extended Playlist'. Note that it'll follow the current track only if the Extended Playlist is open. (Otherwise, use the appropriate shortcut or right-click the playlist scroller.)

[Edit: I've moved/duplicated this post at 3.6 reports, queries and bugs. Not a new "feature" suggestion, probably behavior issue.] When resuming playback of network-streamed music after a paused state, there is a period where buffered content in history plays before switching to the stream as it is at the current moment. The duration of this period of course depends on buffer size, but regardless, the buffered content should always be automatically cleared so that when the play action is activated the sound is in synch with the stream. I haven't yet compared this observation with other streaming media players, so I don't know if it is general behavior among most players.

Many times I want to skip a group of files but currently it is not possible. I choose files of the same album , folder or genre but It is not possible to skip to the next track after those selected. Is a change of this possible? When going down the list (List nav - down) after a group of tracks was selected the cursor would go to the first track below the selection.

Please add an option for a hotkey (shortcut) for Write To Disk (Playlist > Current Track). Thank you!

I found that the 3D Spectrum Vis is quite heavy on CPU load (10-20% on a Core2Duo at ~2.5 GHz). While I suppose that not much can be done about that, it is noticeable that the Vis even generates this load if no tune is actually playing at all, so there should be no FFT data to be generated/processed. I wonder if this can be optimized a bit.

I wish there was a way the visualizations did not be so dependable on the graphics card. When I load some visualizations fullscreen on a netbook, the performance of the vis suffers. Winamp's visualizations on XMPlay run better fullscreen than XMPlay's own.

Winamp's visualizations on XMPlay run better fullscreen than XMPlay's own. That's probably because XMPlay's visualization are fully handled by the CPU, while Winamp visualization can use the GPU as well. Have you tried limiting the resolution? I'll put GPU acceleration on the list for good measure.

This is already possible. When not in fullscreen, the song bubble is not displayed on the vis area, but next to the tray icon, though.

It would be great if it was possible to not stop and restart stream playback if you choose "write to disk" from context menu and the selected stream is already playing. This would get rid of some annoying interruptions. And to bring this to perfection, it would be cool if there could be some kind of "retroactive recording", i.e. keep the played stream content of the last x seconds in memory and then write this stream content also to disk when starting recording. This could be useful for example when you realize that a great tune is playing on an online radio and you want to record the whole tune, but it's been playing for 5 seconds already.
