Dear friends,
how to apply a function to the try icon?

I would like to put a function to pause/resume the play with a simple left mouse click to the icon.

Thanks.

Have you tried a right-click on the tray icon?

The "XMPlay Tray Icons Utility" gives me after configuring it to one button exacly what I want. On left mouse click start/pause and on right mouse click it opens/closes the player to/from tray.

Only problem, now I've got two icons in tray, or one in task bar and one in tray. But this is OK.

Thanks for your quick help.

check "always in tray" in the options (under miscellaneous) to get rid of the task bar entry.

Then it'll be in the TaskBar instead, right?

No, with 'Always in tray' checked, XMPlay will always have a tray icon, rather than a task bar button. It's not possible to hide the XMPlay icon, otherwise you wouldn't be able to restore XMPlay Wink.

But I can restore it with the "Button Command 3 (= Minimize to tray/restore)" in the "XMPlay Tray Icons Utility" with the icon it added to the tray, so I don't need the xmplay icon at all anymore anywhere     Smiley

But now I put it into the "hidden icons" section of the tray, so it doesn't show up in the first view anymore.

Ah, it could work like that Smiley. What Windows do you have? On 7, you can choose manually which icons to show, but I'm not sure about XP and Vista.

Yes, I use Win 7, but on Vista it works the same. XP, as far as I remember doesn't have this hidden icons in the tray.

Ok, right-click the taskbar, go to Properties and click Customize under Notification area. Scroll down to find the XMPlay icon and set it to 'Hide icon and notifications'. Does that work?

Exactly, this will put it into the "hidden icons" section of the tray (which will be visible with clicking the arrow (Show Hidden Icons) in the tray).
