Could you elaborate on what this version brings over the regular stuff version?

... and the Options screen now has a cute little toolbar

The main problem I find with running XMPlay under Wine is that very few skins work properly in full mode: the various skin components (main window, playlist window, etc) are overlaid one on top of the other on the desktop and cannot be separated. So if the purpose of this modified version is to make XMPlay more compatible with Wine, please consider investigating that problem, which still arises with this version. Many thanks.

it just has an export table that is more standard because regularly it is scrambled

and in my experience that doesn't play nicely with emulated softwares (vmware, portable suites, open source and stuff)

so it basically it is restructured to try to get to run on emulated environments

this just refers to the window bar above the options being halfsize and minus the [?] in the upper right corner

"4. Wine 1.3.19 or newer have some problems with rendering interface - FPS is about 2-4... Previous versions worked fine."

maybe try Wine 1.3.19 or older

Obviously, but that button had a functionality, so I was wondering why you removed it. The text at the bottom of Options and stuff still refers to it, btw.

it was experimental ok - i just changed it back to normal because i wanted to try to make a 9-point interface instead as fonts do not kern correctly under that point.  that is why M$ changed over to 9-point Segoe UI for its newer interfaces.

note this may fuvk up the interface on windows versions prior to Vista

try the iXMPlay skin under wine, i uploaded a mod version with the default skin replaced

*edit*
Euphoria and A-Round skins have embedded fonts and can help with graphical glitches in WINE installations

But don't forget WINE is also capable of rendering M$ fonts, by copying the '.ttf' files in the Windows/Fonts folder into WINE's

I'm running the stable version of Wine, 1.01. The only two skins which function well in full mode are Euphoria and A-Round. I tried your iXMPlay mod, thanks, but unfortunately the skin malfunctions quite badly here, and so does the WMP mod.
