This doesn't have anything to do with Un4seen, but I thought to ask here, since it's a little hard to search matter...

I have a good and at the time quite pricey mouse. Lately it's started to act up though, so that a single click gets doubled, leading to all kinds of annoyances.

You can accelerate or slow down the double-click speed from Windows' settings (or from my mouse's drivers), but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious to prevent an immediate double-click, when just a single click was intended. Is there really nothing to be done, short of buying a new mouse?

Does it happen as well if you use the mouse on a different machine? If so, then you'll have to repair the hardware or buy a new one. Oh, you might want to try this, though I have no idea whether it's any good.

Eh..? That seemed a little too easy, a little too quick... But I'll be damned, it actually works Cheesy.

Did you just google it, or what? I feel a bit humbled now, if I could've just found it myself Tongue. Thanks all the same!

Yep, that guy complained about the same problem. He had had the hardware problem with a couple of mice already, so he decided to write a software patch to fix it. Found it via Google indeed Wink.
