MO· and directx VST
« on: 5 Aug '11 - 15:25 »
I downloaded some MO3, and I found they are using directx plugins (playing with XMPLAY).

I created some Impulse Tracker files with VST effects, if I convert them to MO3 and play them with XMPlay... the VST effects disappear...

What am I doing wrong?

MO3/XMPlay only support DirectX Media Objects, but no VST plugins.

Sorry.. I made a mistake, I meant just directx.

The files I made (.IT), are playing with the directx effects (Chorus, reverb...) ok in XMPlay.
When I convert Them to MO3, they play without directx effects.  :'(

As you say, XMPlay/MO3 supports directx... What's wrong with my MO3's?

Thanks.

Which version of MO3.exe are you using, and which program + version do you use for playing the MO3?

I found the problem... I made my IT's using Open ModplugTracker, sometimes MPT doesn't save correctly the plungin for a chanel or an instrument.

Thanks!

If you think that OpenMPT doesn't save the data correctly, please upgrade to the latest version first, check if the bug still happens and if it's still there, report it on our issue tracker, thank you.
But I don't understand how this should be even possible, if you use the same IT file in XMPlay and MO3 to compare.
