It seems like a weird bug. When I pause XM Play and then remove the earphone jack, it automatically unpauses. The song keeps playing while the icon switches back and forth between the play and pause buttons.

Maybe because the output device changes from headphones to speakers?  Can you set the output device to speakers while the headphones are connected?

Yes, it does the job. I previously didn't use DirectSound, though.
Speaking of which - Ian, would it be technically possible to add a primary sound driver to the WASAPI plugin as well? I usually prefer using the WASAPI plugin, but when changing between normal laptop usage and using the laptop in a dock (where I have a normal soundcard installed), drivers reset to Sound Mapper in XMPlay, I think...

No, I'm afraid WASAPI doesn't have such a device entry.
