Hello,

On Windows XP I noticed that in some situations after calling BASS_GetInfo I am getting freq = 0 however minrate and maxrate are non zero.
Any ideas why is this happening and how I can get the current sound-card sampling rate?

Yep, as mentioned in that documentation link, the "freq" information is unavailable on Windows prior to Vista. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any way to get the device's current sample rate on older Windows.
