Ian, the unit abbreviation for decibels is "dB", not "db".

Some more minor issues/suggestions: -I think when one clicks on the "Options and stuff" button while the window is already open, it should close. -The new window seems to be missing the "XMPlay Support" link beside the www.un4seen.com link. -Maybe add the ability to change skins in the new window? -The .xm MIDI support was taken out? And I never got a chance to use it...

Hello boys and one girl,
It looks like the tooltip text on tray icon (using always in tray option) does not get updated when XMPlay is not minimized.
I would also like to suggest global hotkey(s) for the oh-so-fluffy Options dialog and/or track finder, and maybe putting those to the tray menu.
How about having separate title formating for panel and playlist? This way I could make XMPlay show title only on the panel and the full string with album and stuff in the playlist. (XMPlay should also allow to choose which formatting to use in the tray bubbles.)
Oh, and I'd like XMPlay to use composer when the artist tag is not available.
Thanks for reading.

-The new window seems to be missing the "XMPlay Support" link beside the www.un4seen.com link. Oh I see now, the support site link is the question button in the top right corner, beside the close button. I never would have thought... That's normally the "what's this" help button.

-The .xm MIDI support was taken out? And I never got a chance to use it... It was so long ago that it was added and tested, that I wasn't sure it was even still working... it would also take up valuable real-estate in the "Device" options page, so I disabled it Oh I see now, the support site link is the question button in the top right corner, beside the close button. I never would have thought... That's normally the "what's this" help button. The button's there, so it may as well be put to some use Fraggie... I'll look into the stuff you mention.

It looks like the middle mouse button no longer queues tracks.. Is this intentional, and if so, why?

Oh yes, it does... But you can't queue the currently playing track.

I'm not trying to queue the currently playing track.. Like, "Hellooo, I have a brain of my own, you know" ! And no, it doesn't queue the tracks anymore; not with my machine nor my friends'. He was first wondering that, and I noticed it's the same here. Uh, what's up with this then ?

Hmmm. Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you... Queuing works here. I have the release version, no funny beta...
I'm having a suggestion, nevertheless: I'd appreciate it if the "custom" doubleclick time could use the global system setting because I have set it to the fastest possible and accidentially click too fast and XMPlay goes to Minimode although I just meant to drag it around...

Yeah... minor issue. Somehow, I think this is probably a system issue, but it's one of those "damnit, it should work!" points.
So, I've got one of those kinky new keyboards with the 70 million extra buttons, a toenail clipper, a bottle opener and an ashtray. So... in the oso-spartan Options panel for keyboard shortcuts, I can easily attribute Shift+Ashtray (Shift+Media Next aka Shift+0xB0) for an action, but when it comes to actually using it, it doesn't. Now, dont get me wrong, the extra buttons work without modifiers, it's just when I try to use key combinations with the media buttons that it decides to ignore the keypresses.
Ian, is this one situtation to point at you and scream and cry about, or is it one to solemnly bask in the hopeless aftermath of Microsoft's lack of forethought? [They already made XP natively use these damn things, the least they could do is make them WORK normally].
"Nevermind." - Rosanna Danna

Now, if you click "Options and stuff" while the window is already open now you will hear a beep. Shouldn't the button work like the "Track info" button, which both opens and closes the window? Also, I noticed the info window will "remember its place" on the desktop after you open and close it. Perhaps the options and stuff window could do the same? Not a major issue; the name of the thread says it all.

RahDick, 's ok, didn't really got upset . Anyway, the queuing worked for me too the right-click way, but the middle mouse button didn't queue the tracks like before. Now after the update it does again .

Not a major issue; the name of the thread says it all. Unlike the info window, you're unlikely to open the "Options and stuff" just for a brief look - you'll probably want to click a few things in it, at which point you may as well use the window's close/cancel buttons (or press Esc) So I decided to go the way of the "Open file(s)" dialog... trying to open it again causes a beep and brings the already open dialog into focus. Also, as with the "Open file(s)" dialog, the "Options and stuff" comes up where you have the mouse at that time, so that you don't have to drag the mouse over any great distance.
