2. If double clicking on the tray icon restores XMPlay, why not make double click minimize it back? (Very convenient IMO.)
3. New hotkeys for amplification +/-. (I just love hotkeys.)
Agreed on Nr. 2, but with 3: hasn't / and * been amp and +/- been volume for a while?

I'm not certain about the WMA thing as it doesn't crash here, but I saw something that may cause a problem, and that's been dealt with. (if you can post the crash location/etc, I can be more sure)

Plus... The options property sheet (on open) could automatically switch to the last active page instead of showing the default miscallano... (oh, you know what I mean ) all the time. Kinda annoying.

I didn't mean to offend you, Fraggie...
I just tried to make a clear version of it, to make sure people really understand it the way you wanted them to. I mean, if I understood it so, anyway.
Sorry... :-/

Ian, will you be letting us know that you've issued the last updated .exe of 2.8? Will there be a 2.8a instead?
Hope it includes a direct ref to Vis on the playlist page, to the extent the reference is controlled by the program rather than the skin, though by this time I probably won't forget where the Vis button is again.
Thanks.

Not sure if this is a minor issue as it involves a crash...
If you closed a previous XMPlay session by right-clicking the close button, to make it pick up on where you were the next time you start the program (a great feature BTW), and then try to start XMPlay with a file as argument (just a simple double-click/enter/yaddayadda), it'll get confused and crash. This includes v2.8.2

In the new options dialog, there's no separate "rescan titles" option (of course the titles are scanned when a new title formatting is set). I could use that one.

The plugin file info doesn't seem to work with mods anymore. If the plugin dll isn't in XMPlay folder, 'Plugin file info' is naturally grey and not functional at all, but when the dll is in the folder, it still doesn't work. It's not grey, but when pressed, nothing happens.

hmm... I just tried, and it's working fine here. Which plugin are you using, and did it work previously? Also, is the problem with all MODs of all formats? Note you may have other plugins that are earlier in the list (eg. Adplug ) that also handle some MOD formats.

Well, I guess I should have done some research before posting that one.. Here's the deal:
-Having in_modplug.dll in XMPlay folder "enables" 'Plugin file info', but pressing it doesn't do anything. -Having in_mikamp.dll in XMPlay folder enables the info, and it works too, but only if in_modplug.dll isn't in the folder. If it is, pressing 'Plugin file info' again doesn't do anything.
It seems like it's with at least all common mod formats (XM, IT, MOD, S3M), but I don't have any rare ones to test with.

I just noticed that '&' doesn't show up correctly in the popup box, when XMPlay is in tray, and the cursor is held over it for a while. I think I mentioned about it some time earlier.. well doesn't matter a lot, this is probably the most minor issue in this thread .
