XMPlay doesn't show on the taskbar or alt+tab list if you have "always in tray" enabled, unless you have it "pinned" to the taskbar too (right-click the exe file and choose "pin to taskbar"). I think it's a limitation of Windows, but I'm not sure.
thank you, that worked as I imaginged, unclicked 'always in tray' under miscellaneous now program shows up in the tray.
