I am trying to get rectest to save the recorded file as "track01.wav" on every recording.  If "track01.wav" already exist, then I want it to automatically overwrite that file without asking.
Here is the situation.  I am recording singers.  Winamp is the player (which I cant change).  Rectest automatically records everything PERFECTLY but the problem is it saves the files as a "singer name - title of song - date / time"  I have another program that loads that back to the winamp playlist and automatically plays that song so they can hear themselves without me having to manually put the file into the playlist.  Now the problem !  The playlist comes up in alphabetical order and wont load the "last song recorded"  If Rectest would save the file as Track01, there would only be 1 song in the playlist and would have to play that one song (ie..the last singer).  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Please clarify what "Rectest" you are referring to. There is a Rectest example included in the BASS package, but what you describe doesn't sound very much like it. Perhaps someone has modified that example? If so, you could ask them if they would be willing to modify the modification for you Smiley
