intermittent playback with sid files, usually they only play one note and hang the entire track, or crash box comes up and close xmplay. maybe works sometimes, not all the time. using sid rev 3.0 and reset its settings back to default.

Win7 error reports don't seem too helpful... The crash appears to be in ntdll::wcslen(), but since you say it's already playing, all text operations are already done... Also I don't recall using wide-character functions, so it's probably XMPlay choking on something returned by the plug-in.

Can you try with "Verify file content" option disabled?

Anyway, please supply examples of troublesome files as well as the [SID_27] part of your xmplay.ini file.

Hi Fraggie, thanks for your reply. Turns out things are working out normally now. I had restarted, etc must have been some one-off bizarre hiccup. Will report back if problem persists.
