i uploaded 4 mp3 files in crash2.zip on your ftp site. sorry - crash.zip is same files, but forgot to switch to binary mode transfer first.

they all open and play just fine in vlc, media player classic, and foobar.

drag-n-drop these onto the any window -> crash.
have these in a folder that is autoscanned -> crash
add to playlist by clicking the "+" button -> crash

WinXPsp3 - admin, DEP on
XMPlay - 3.6.0.1
 - input plugins: CD Audio r10b; FLAC r8; wma r13
 - other plugins: Reverb, equalizer (built in); Winamp viswrapper - mildrop 2.0e

these will cause crash when dropped onto any window of a freshly downloaded XMplay - no settings adjusted.

The crashing appears to be caused by malformed ID3v2 tags in those files. Here's an update that should do a better job of detecting the problem and avoid the crash...

That file seems to be playing OK here. Do you have any details on the crash, eg. a DRWTSN32.LOG entry or a dump file? Please also try with a fresh XMPlay setup (eg. XMPLAY.EXE alone in a directory) and see if the problem still happens, in case it's caused by some setting or plugin.

i remove xmp-modpacker and xmp-delix now work like a charm, thank a lot
