Newbie question...

Is there a Media Foundation ready built binary in existence for Windows 7?

To clarify, do you want to use Media Foundation codecs with BASS, or are you looking for a Media Foundation codec that uses BASS? The former is possible (BASS can use Media Foundation codecs), but I'm not sure about the latter. I believe there are DirectShow codecs that use BASS, but I'm not sure if there are currently any Media Foundation codecs.

Windows Media Player v12 has two verbs for playing audio tracks: a) the "Play" function to play a track locally on the PC where WMP is running, and b) the "Play To" function to stream a track to a remote audio player via the UPnP/DLNA interface.

Windows Media Player itself is able to use either DirectShow or Media Foundation codecs for its local "Play" function, but it seems that the "Play To" utilises a separate service application called the Windows Media Network Streaming Service, and this only uses Media Foundation codecs.

Currently there is a DCBass DirectShow codec (which works fine supporting WMP "Play" function for ALAC files, but not on "Play To"). So my question is whether there is a Media Foundation codec, which would support both "Play"  and "Play To" for ALAC ??

PS your home page says the following, but it is not clear what that means...
Quote
* OS codecs
  ACM, Media Foundation and CoreAudio codec support for additional audio formats
