reverse sample playback

I think I've suggested this before but I'm not sure, so forgive me if I have.

XMPlay doesn't support the ModPlug effect S9F which reverses sample playback. Example:

I think this was discussed once before, and it was determined that this effect is ModPlug/Traker only, and not an actual .IT, .XM, etc effect.

Yeah, I believe it's ModPlug-only, but why should that mean it wouldn't get implemented ? It is an effect that doesn't do anything in IT, and has a function in IT's 'upgrade': ModPlug. Normal IT songs will still work fine.

That was the discussion thread for 2.7 suggestions, so if Ian hasn't put it in by now (by your post, I'm assuming he hasn't), he simply hasn't figured out how to implement it.

I've posted all I can on the topic, as I have no more knowledge.

I started implementing it back then, but it was kinda low priority, and I never finished it... now that you've reminded me, I'll have another look at it (and the HP filter thing too).
