Are we getting a dynamic realtime 3D-rendered skin then?
Or is this an acutal piece of hardware?

Either way, I've only got one word for you:
Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!

The first pic is actually a screenshot of the skin, the two other pics are just some rendered pictures...

Would be cool as real hardware device, tho ;D

2506 = 25.06. - the day when I got the idea of it. ;)

I love it!  How much are you charging, and what types of batteries does it take?

Ehh, strike that "Coming soon"...
I totally forgot that I'm flying to Austria in less than four hours... The Info Window still isn't finished yet, so I think you may have to wait another two weeks... Sorry  :-X

Just a couple of quick questions: will the hold button do anything? And how about the two knobs at the bottom (volume and balance) - will those do anything either?

The hold is Minimise, so said Rah' to me the other day.  And if you think a bit more about it, those bottom thingies aren't straight, they can't be used as sliders.

The skin is up on the XMPlay page people :)

It's a bit slow loading (or rather initializing) at the moment, but that will be greatly improved in the next XMPlay release. (about 10x faster)

Yesss..! It looks even better, now that it's "live" :). The mini mode is very inventive too :D.

A little problem here - XMPlay seems to crash with this skin, after right-clicking on the play button a few times. I'm not sure if it's linked to this skin, but it would be worth a look. Great skin, otherwise!

I don't get it to crash like that.. Perhaps a track in your list crashes it?

Hi there! I'm here at Ralesk's home for one day (or better: night) because the last train back to Graz went at... uhm, dunno. Quite some hours ago. ^_^;
So we're trying to stay awake until I can (finally?) leave :P
I'm glad you all like the skin... I didn't have much time when I sent the skin to Ian on Monday, so there were some minor bugs in it... Happily Ian corrected the panel thingy, thanks! :)

I'll be back at home in about two to three weeks, depending on my mood... ;D
Cheers, Thomas

Could you imagine a handheld media player BASS enabled and in_* plugin enabled?

Christ. I would cry if such a thing existed. Perfect.

Tempo/speed and active channel count aren't shown...

Upper "Change panel" labels don't work...

Guest, there are some invalidities in your suggestion/complaint:
Quote
Tempo/speed and active channel count aren't shown...

It was the author's choice not to put them on there. Not all skins have all features.

Upper "Change panel" labels don't work...

They're not controls; they're not supposed to work. A skin is limited to the function of the player.

However, I do have a valid gripe: The style and size of the "time" text. Compared to the rest of the skin, it looks a little "fake". I don't know if you can, but would you be able to make it look a little closer to the rest of the skin? Maybe you could reduce the size a little (Assuming you're using MS Sans Serif)?

But the "Time" text is of same font and size as the rest of the texts there, like "File Info", "Position" etc., and I don't think they look fake either.. Am I missing something?
