Compare play files in the archive player XMPlay and Windows Media Player. WMP plays files completely. I tried AIMP 3 (used bass.dll) and it is the same problem as in XMPlay. Two years ago, I faced a similar problem on Windows Mobile 2003 (Motorola MPX-220), and very disappointed. Now I'm even more surprised when I found it in XMPlay.
I used xmplay36.zip (md5: c6e92de41c4a431a46d3f39e5b3bc2c0).

* DxDiag.7z (9.05 KB - downloaded 3 times.)

Please confirm what Windows version you are using, and which output system in XMPlay, eg. the default/DirectSound/ASIO/WASAPI? Also, what soundcard do you have, and have you checked if updated drivers are available? If you have another soundcard available, does the same thing happen with that?

Note that of the files you posted, only 09.WAV really has any sound. The rest should sound pretty much silent in any player (unless greatly amplified).

Once again, I heard sounds in the headphones now. It seems like everyone is playing well. WMP plays the sounds louder at maximum volume than other players. This has misled me. I apologize for the false alarm. Desirable to remove the topic. Smiley
