Hello Ian i have ha question aboute XMPlay is XMPlay been updated whithout changing the version number?

If it does that's only a good thing i like updated programs for exampel Foobar2000 is beeing updated almost every day and i like that very mutch

From what I gather, there is one main release (2.7) and a release after that has little fixes (2.7a) and so on, so if there is a little update, you should be able to tell.

There was an updated EXE put in the 2.7 ZIP file the day after release (18/5), to fix a few things that were reported, but nothing since then. There'll probably be a 2.7a release soonish, to fix a few more little things and add a couple of new options.

So how about adding the version number, which appears to be contained entirely withing the PE header and therefore should not increase the file size (hint hint)?

I agree. We want more detailed version numbers! Lazyness is no excuse! :laugh:
