Hi @ll :)

When i tried to convert with XMP 2.6 a Mod or a Stream into an MP3 File this was no problem, but it seems with 2.7 there are some problems, the convert starts and stops after a few seconds. I have set the same standard settings from 2.6 also at the 2.7 version.

Hope somebody can help me with this Problem. Please send me an mail or contact me at ICQ - 103033110

Thank you :)

Oops! ;D ... It's now sorted, and the 2.7 download has been updated.

LAME is so passé.  Use oggenc. *pesters Ian to remove all references to LAME again* ;D

(Blarg.  Does anone know the UTF-8 code for e-acute?)

Ralesk

[é] Latin Small Letter E With Acute
Unicode U+00E9
UTF-8: 0xC3 0xA9

Thanks, Draconian.  Mind if I can get the source for that entry? :-/

charmap isn't utf-8, it's windows-1252 (or iso-8888-1; I forget which).  Also, I don't have that program at work, where I made that post.  For some reason, Win98 was installed without it.

Torkell

*is using Windows 2000 Professional, which supports Unicode first and SBCS/MBCS for 9x compatability*

"How about charmap.exe?"

Oh, and to find out the UTF create a dud link with é in it (press Ctrl+Alt+e under Windows to get that letter), tell Internet Explorer to use UTF-8 and see what it generates for an address when you click on it.

I meant that charmap.exe under Win98 doesn't support UTF-8 (to my knowledge).

Tsorovan

Yes my bad, not UTF-8, I misread and thought you wanted the Unicode....code. Sorry 'bout that.

I got all that info from:
1) WinNT charmap (Win2k to be precise -- and I /so/ hate their idea of having 20 character long rows...  who the f*ck was in charge of this programme?!)
2) a text editor about as simple as NotePad (but actually, it was EditPlus 2) and then viewed the hex code in Total Commander's Lister.
