Problem with ID3v2 titles

I noticed a small but annoying bug in Xmplay. Actually I'm not really sure if it's a bug or what, but anyway some of my mp3s, that have ID3v2 tag in them, get shown in Xmplay as if they didn't have any tag (=songname.mp3). It's a bit disturbing since I haven't found any difference whatsoever to the other files that are shown normally. If the tag is added to ID3v1, and also if then removed from v2, the title shows normally. I'm confused . Any explanations?

Hmm.. Nothing coming up here (no wonder tho with this little info), maybe I should upload some files. Hope it's not something with my system .

Wow, I wished I had that bug! (As I loathe ID3 tags.)
Still want that filename Title Form option...

What's wrong with ID3 tags? Lots of useful info can be put there. Well, I guess this problem of mine isn't very common - I have it only in a couple of my 2000+ mp3s.

Ian, I uploaded one of these songs having the problem with showing the ID3v2 tag. The other three files having this problem, that I noticed a while ago, are from this same album of Enya, so it may have something to do with the encoding. Have a look .

That file's ID3v2 tags appear fine here, with the current "in development" version. I guess whatever the problem was, has already been sorted
