several .wav files -> 1 mp3/ogg/mpc = possible?

Hi there!

I really appreciate XMPlay's ability to use .exe files as external encoder. I'd like to know if it is possible to encode several files - one after the other - to 1 big mp3/ogg/mpc/... file. (Could this feature be added - if not?) This would be much more elegant than using wave editors to join the .wav files before encoding (especially if you're short of HDD space).

Thanks.

:o Umm... I don't really see who would do this, apart from you... I'm sure there's a way already in place, but it would take some tweaking...

Immagine this situation: I've got a live album (= between songs no silence but e.g. applause), that is split to several tracks in some format like monkey's audio or flac (gapless + lossless). I want to encode it to mp3 but without annoying gaps between the tracks e.g. for playback on my portable, so I need to join the files before (or while) encoding. Of course, I can do it in two steps using a wave editor, but I'd have loved to do it with XMPlay in 1 step.
