Cubic Player-like pattern display?

Is there a way to make the colouring of the pattern readout look like the utterly awesome never to be forgotten cubic player?

black background, and all the rest?

Not sure what you mean... ::) you could try the Vintage skin (it uses a blackish background on the MOD pattern display).

Well, you could make a skin-mod that changes just that one window. Actually, if anyone does, please upload it.

Also, you could skin just that one window and upload a 'partial skin', which everyone could apply over their favorite skin.

I believe this is what DarkAngel meant. ;D

Also, it'd be nice if XMPlay would view the pattern like in the last pic on that page, when the width of screen isn't enough.. :)

CP!  Ah, the memories!  CP 1.6 had a very neat background!!  And those W* animations...  I still don't know how to say or spell the word, but press W inside SP.  I was crazy about them.  :)

Würfel. And they weren't there unless you had separately downloaded them.. ;D
And unless I remember wrong, they were quite many MBs, which meant hours of download back then ;)

Which reminds me of another thing. A vis alike the dot view on the CP (for XMP!). If you don't know what it is like, think the dot note view on IT, but CP's one bounced around with note slides too and so on.

ps. way too tired to make perfect sense.

For effect names, I much rather support XM or IT notations, but otherwise, CP seems to be r0xx0r :]

Cubic Player was where I had my most amazing experience with mods. My best experience with computer music. Future crews Ice Frontier absolutely blew me away. Prior to that, my computer had had its most pitiful attempts at sound.

Such as pc speaker in wolfenstein.

Cubic players gui was absolutely beautiful. I loved all the colours. Perfectly chosen. Every time I set up a linux based system I mimic the colour pattern..

I think my biggest wish would be for someone to port cubic player to linux :)

But for now, I'm an enthusiastic xmplay user..
