This feature will not add files unless the recurse subdirectory box is also checked.  It should add the files in the root directory chosen without this option bieng selected.

Actually that's not quite it.

If you open c:\downloads, it won't find any files in c:\downloads unless that option is checked on - even if c:\downloads doesn't have any child folders.

Are you saying that you can't add any files in directories without checking the "sub-directories" option?  It's always worked over here...
