in this case xmp-ffmpeg.dll can not play file , I offer rebuild this plugin do modify plugin so what find acm codecs not in registry and not in c:\windows\system32 or c:\windows\syswow64 , instead find acm codecs in folder XMPlay , I mean what we add to XMPlay  xmp-ffmpeg.dll and all acm codecs to folder with XMPlay and even if codec absent reristry in Windows Registry and plugin can not find acm in registry or c:\windows\system32 or c:\windows\syswow64 , then need find acm in XMPlay folder and if acm codec will find - play wav file )

also I offer add support in one xmp-ffmpeg support formats : TAK / WV / OFR without download separate plugin ) this support available in bass library https://www.un4seen.com/forum/?msg=146552

Please refresh this plugin to https://github.com/ffbinaries/ffbinaries-prebuilt/releases to version 3.4 for play more formats without additional plugins ) this add play :
ac3, alac, eac3, flac, opus, wv, mp3, tak, tta, "wav (all ADPCM versions and other standard windows codec without use acm)

Update: FFMPEG 8.0 has been released! It adds support for decoding following formats: Xbox IMA ADPCM (something subsong-incompatible VGMStream also has), Sanyo LD-ADPCM, G.728, etc. Plus, Matroska can now support H.266 VVC audio. Cool, huh?

If you not hard , help make plugin for XMPlay ) , now I use version from 2014 year , want be well newer version )
