Hi

I forgot to turn off 'always loop' and started one
mp3, then I left the room, after I came back
(about 30 minutes later) I noticed that XMPlay
was playing the same mp3 all around (that's
what 'always loop' is for) but I also noticed very
strange timer look - it said "-42:-31:-4", also
frame counter was negative (something around
-90000). I made screenshots, they're available
here:

I've seen this before (but not when it's got as far as negative numbers!). What's happening is that XMPlay is not resetting the time counter when it gets back to the start of the file/sub-song. The reason it went negative is because of integer wrap-around.

Ian, this is something else that you should "look into".

Anthem apocalyptica is a good song.

And Ian has "looked into" this one a couple of times.
