TiS, I dont (or 'wont' - I cant even bring myself to check it to see if it's there) mourn for at all.  All I remember of it, aside from the innavigable layout, were the whiny semi-noob dorks thinking of the scene as a launching pad for the 'big time' instead of a community gathering to further the art of cutting edge music.  Modplug, at least, had a good number of quality people with thier heads on straight capable of original creation. At least the boards still work - keeps something flowing.

I worry now that there may have to be some focus really put to ModArchive. If that place is entrusted with the future of large scale scene-music archival and distribution, we're doomed. Stary's head is like one of those little gray home security vaults - the problem is: it's welded shut. In order to cater to tracker and downloader alike (and separately - which I think is extremely important), the place would have to be drastically altered, meaning Stary would have to chop off a large part of his ego. I dont see that happening. And besides all that... the place is just ugly!  =P
