Automatically bypass the DSP
« on: 15 May '18 - 20:32 »
Is there a way to have XMPlay automatically use the "DSP bypass = on" setting, on startup, or have it remember my preferences (DSP bypass = on)?

I know it can be switched manually each time. I'm just looking for a way to have it pre-set not to use the DSP.

There isn't currently any way to have the "DSP - bypass" option enabled by default, but you could achieve the same effect by having the DSP options set accordingly: volume = 0 dB, balance = centre, amplification = 0 dB, auto-amp = off, equalizer and reverb = off, no DSP plugins enabled.

Thanks Ian @ un4seen. I'll give your workaround a try.
