Empty noise of Microphone
« on: 2 Nov '18 - 22:02 »
I am recording sound from the microphone with WASAPI. But when I keep silent against the microphone, the recorded sound is empty noisy. I also get this situation when I use the Windows audio recorder. I think my microphone isn't high quality. Therefore when I mix the the sound card and the microphone, the quality of the sound on the sound card is dropping.

Is there any way to clean up this parasite or empty noise? Library or etc. ?

The sample audio file is attached.

Thank you.

The only solution would be to get a better microphone.
XLR microphones with phantom power are a great choice, since there's no need to amplify them, thus reducing the noise.

There are no good "free" alternatives for real-time noise removal, your only bet would be to buy an expensive VST.
