is it possible to stream an audio file over the micro? i don't want to create the file in advance, i already have several mp3 files and want to play one via the micro from time to time "like virtual audio cabel does that" but without having to install it.
i know there is the playback method and the record method but how do i do both at the same time or does the bass.dll not support that?
thanks in advance.

vb.net or c# code example where nice but not necessary.

By "micro", do you mean a microphone? If so, it isn't possible to play on a microphone. I guess what you want to do is send sample data to an app that is recording from a microphone? If so, I think you will indeed need a virtual soundcard for that (you play on the virtual soundcard and the other app records from it).

mKay ok, too bad it doesn't work, I have to install it when my app is finished.

maybe you or someone else can give me the link to the newer manual of the bass.dll the old one i have is still c++ and it's very hard for me to rewrite/translate to "vb.net"

thanks in advance

If you're using BASS.Net, it comes with documentation in the Help folder. That can also be viewed online here:
