The BASS_AAC add-on is based on the FAAD2 decoder, so it would gain xHE-AAC support when that does. FAAD2 is still getting bugfix/stability updates but I'm not sure about new features. If xHE-AAC support does appear, I would think it's most likely to be via the OS codecs, eg. Media Foundation on Windows.
