I was wondering if it is at all possible to detect the decibel level coming in from the mic (and have it update). It seems like this BASS module can do alot, I was just wondering if this is possible.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, and I'm using VB (.net, but I'm sure VB6 code would work).

This is what I've found thus far;

The conversion formula of Volume to dB;
dB = 20*log(level/100)

I'm assumming the log is base 10, but I don't know how I would use this with the level input from the microphone.
