I'm not familiar with what ModPlug Player 1.46 did, so I don't know if it's the same thing, but did you try XMPlay's "dynamic" auto-amp mode? It will automatically adjust the amp level to normalize the output level.

And next
You can compare results with Automatic Gain Contrl in XMPLay with OpenMPT plugin and ModPlug Player

I found the ModPlug Player "readme" file, containing this information:

Quote* Automatic Gain Control:
When you open a module with this option enabled, the player will adjust
the global volume so that there is no clipping, even when the pre-amp
slider is to the maximum. It can give a better Signal/Noise ratio (SNR).

XMPlay's modules decoder does similar automatically (no option), but that won't apply when using a different decoder (eg. OpenMPT plugin). A decoder controls its own output level, and then XMPlay's amplification settings are applied on top of that.

Why ?Which does not give make this for global output ? Over all plugins , over all formats ?

I wait what this optionn will global )
