Can audio engine on XM Play be improved?

I have used Xmplay since 2010 s and still continue use this app but, i noticed that tracks in DAW sounds better than XMPlay and even better in such applicattion as Korg Audiogate for example, at the same time in all cases i use ASIO output. On the other side, there exist a players than sound worse than XMPlay. So question, can XMPlay be improved in that way? Absolute great solution, but situation is this.
