changing instrument without note is not working on xmplay

I found a bug!

I was listening to nuffnaffness.mod by vim, and I noticed the difference in XMPlay compared to OpenMPT.

I find it concerning that the instruments alone are not played, and I find it ruining my day.

Compare it to other trackers to see what I mean.

What do you have the "MOD playback mode" option (in the "Modules" options page) set to? If not "PT1", please try that and see if it helps. If it doesn't help then please also give a position in the file where the problem can be heard.

Update, the changing instrument without notes is only missing for the .mod and .it formats

Just want to point that out for you guys.
