No Delete confirmation prompt

Hello, if i right click on a file in a playlist and select "Remove & delete file" that file is deleted with no confirmation prompt and goes directly to the recycle bin.
I have obviously selected the "confirm option" in the Playlist options.
On another PC i do have a confirmation prompt (they both run W11)
Any idea what could be the issue?

Thanks

The confirmations requests can be disabled system-wide by unchecking the "Display delete confirmation dialogue" box in the Recycle Bin's properties. So I guess you've done that at some point on one PC and not on the other?

Hello, that was the solution! I don't know how it comes that the option got disabled but after reenabling it i got the confirmation prompt.
Thanks!

While playing with that option i saw that if i select NO at the deletion prompt, the file is not deleted but it is removed from the playlist, this is confirmed by the number of tracks which decreases by 1.
Is that the way it is supposed to work?

Thanks and regards

Good to hear the problem was just that Recycle Bin switch. I'll add a note of it in XMPlay's "Playlist options" docs.

The file will indeed still be removed from XMPlay's playlist if you reply "No" to the file deletion confirmation request. It's as if the "Remove" option was chosen instead of "Remove & delete file".
