xmplay 4.1 can't switch into minimode

My player is always in normal mode.
When I first extracted this program, everything worked well,
but after some operations the mini mode feature seemed to be broken.
During this period, I imported some skins and visuals,
adjusted some skin related settings and restarted my PC for several times,
then I suddenly realised that it failed to switch to mini mode.
After that I tried reinstalling the program, switch to 4.0, but nothing worked. What shall I do to fix this?
I do wish someone with technical expertise might lend a helping hand. orz

Are you double-clicking or using the "M" shortcut key to toggle mini mode? If you've only tried one of those, please try the other. If it's only the shortcut key that isn't working, then check the "Shortcuts" options page to see if that shortcut has been removed. If you like, you can use the "Defaults" button there to reset all shortcuts to defaults. Or you can delete your XMPLAY.INI file (while XMPlay is closed) to reset everything to defaults.

If the problem persists, you could also try changing the "Auto mini mode" setting in the "Interface" options page, to see if that's somehow causing the problem. Also confirm whether you're having the problem with a particular skin, or all skins, including the default.
